Purposes

acts as a meeting place and support structure for all those, both volunteer or employed, who work with young people within the life of the churches and Christian youth work organisations of the Sheffield area.
acts as an informal network of ideas, resources and events relating to youth work and ministry.
acts as a support structure for denominations and individual churches in their particular youth activities, encouraging cross fertilisation of worship, mission and ministry opportunities wherever possible, and embracing a variety of activities.
acts as a catalyst organisation, facilitating occasional special events, projects and activities focussing on young people. It is hoped that particular worship, mission and ministry focuses will emerge as youth workers meet and network.
